Telephonist ID

Know who’s behind every AI call.

AI agents are starting to ring businesses on people’s behalf. Telephonist ID signs every call we make for someone, so the business knows a real, accountable person sent it, without ever learning who.

For businesses

Know who’s calling.

Every call carries a short reference. Enter it with the number we called at telephonist.ai/check to see that the call is genuine, which level stands behind it, and that Benaiah AI Ltd answers for it. You can report a call or ask us not to call again.

Then choose which AI calls reach you: anyone, paying customers, verified people only, or none. Prove the number is yours with a code and it applies from the next call. It’s free.

For callers

Get through.

Businesses can choose to take AI calls only from verified people. Prove once that you’re a real, unique person, and every call your Telephonist makes for you says so.

The Telephonist ID iPhone app reads your passport’s chip, which your country signed, and matches your face to its photo. Your face and photo never leave your phone. We keep only scrambled fingerprints of your name and date of birth, never your passport or your picture.

The app is in beta and opens to everyone soon. Until then, you can prove you’re human with World ID.

Trust levels

Every call’s Telephonist ID says which level stands behind it. Businesses see the level, never the person.

  1. Paid

A paying customer: a Telephonist plan, or a topped-up calling balance. See plans.

  2. Verified

Provenance: a real, unique person stands behind the agent, proved once with Telephonist ID or World ID. Agents can now pay, hire and call on their own, so paying alone doesn’t prove there’s a person. With the Telephonist ID app, calls can also confirm the name you give. Verify.

Ours, end to end.

Telephonist ID is our own: our app, our checks, our signatures. Every call is signed with our keys, and anyone can check the signature against the keys we publish.

World ID is there if you prefer it: proof that you’re a unique person, with no face, name or documents shared with us.

How we handle your data: privacy notice.
